Best worship of your life....so far (how?)

With tonight's, "Night of Worship" at @bestsummersofar, I wanted to share a couple thoughts on how to have the "best" worship of your life...so far.

First of all Remember that...
- worship is not a performance, so be yourself.
- worship is not a rigid routine, but a ever changing creative display of your heart toward God!
- worship is not a skill to get "good" at.
- worship is not just us singing really loud "at" God, but its time spent with God.
- worship releases God's power into your daily life!
- worship is amazing at church, but is also amazing in your car/home/shower.
- worship is the NATURAL overflow of our thankfulness for what Jesus did/does for us!
--- and --- worship doesn't require legit vocals! (thank God for that!!)

Worship simply defined is: Expressed Love & Devotion
Every time you worship Him, you make a statement about your life, you make a statement about who you trust and you make a statement about who your devoted to!

If worship then is a declaration of your devotion to God. Im challenging myself and all of us to evaluate our worship.
And determine to make our worship a true reflection of our devotion to God!

1 Chronicles 22:19
19 Now devote your heart and soul to seeking the LORD your God.

Lets come ready and full of expectation for what God wants to do when this generation unites to make that declaration that our & worship & our lives are devoted to Jesus!

See you tonight!

  1. Wow... after reading this what you said is SO true. So many times I allow for my mood to determine my worship. Imagine what would happen if we let our guards down and just commited to going to that next level with God. Worship can be amazing, but when we are totally surrendered it can be life changing.
